As Ross says generally a positive meeting but I was disappointed that
Tony chose not to mention Eve up there beside Eilidh and Donnie. She
was 2nd, 3rd and 4th in her three events in Rhodes - a fabulous effort
for one so young in a major senior competition.
Her Scottish rankings (August 2007) are third Senior in Heptathlon,
2nd Under-20 Triple Jump and 3rd Under-20 100m Hurdles. She was also
selected to represent the Scottish Under 20 team at the Triple
Jump .......

My pardon has been begged but not yet granted! I can't comment on the
what's
in the minutes as I haven't received them yet. However, I was at the
meeting
and know what was said. If you read my post, my point was not that you
did
not mention her at all but that you did not mention her "up there
beside
Eilidh and Donnie". You specifically singled out those two at the
start of
your Chairman's Report and mentioned Eve later on - I think Eve's
achievements were just as outstanding.
Gav
p.s. I thought I'd posted the above response on Tuesday but just
noticed it wasn't there! Email is obviously far too technical for an
IT man! Since then I have seen the draft minutes and they say "Tony
stated that there were two members of the Club who stood out over the
past year ....." - the point of my original post was that in my
opinion there were three.
