Access to the path is denied

Getting this error message when entering my page:

Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\yyyyyy\web\_css\combined\AllCss_DAA655FCAFEC02491EC3C668E2B8436C.css' is denied.


Need permissons to write.

In the proprties of the folder "combined" and the security tab I need to change "authenticated user" or "Users" write abilitie to make it work.

Is this really neccesary or is it possible to soulve my problem on another way?


What I read about the problem is that I should change the permissions on:

(hostname\IUSR_hostname), IUSR, NETWORK and some more to make it work, but those changes didn't help me.

I only get this message when I published to my IIS.

Under IIS7, you need to give write permissions for the account that the app pool is running under - that defaults to ApplicationPoolIdentity which really means an account with the same name as the app pool (just to be clear note that it's the app pool name and *not* the website name).
