May not have to do w/ gardening BUT, this shouldn't go to waste !!
Just now, at the end of the SB parking lot - there has appeared a beautiful
butcher block tabletop 32x54 -- put out by the dumpster @!!
It is in excellent condition -- excellent, and almost an inch thick. It is
well finished. It is the top only, no legs, but there are four leg
fasteners of some kind on the underside.
Weird, I also just rescued four bags of excellent, fresh clothing dumped
there also this morning. Took them to Planet Aid, and soon as I started
transferring the items into the depository (Bway/Col), people came by and
wanted this, then that, and !!!
What are people thinking throwing out stuff like this - better than
Salvation Army, and Planet Aid is right there for Any One who wants to
dispose of old clothing as well as really good stuff. They told me on the
phone a while back that they recycle cloth material ALSO, though their
website http://www.planetaid.org/ doesn't mention it. Email
them in...@planetaid.org to find out where boxes are located other than
Broadway and Columbia (at the gas station) if that's not your closest one.
