about translation facility

i am using mysql in my projects.
now i seen the sqlbuddy and it has one option of translation

so i want to know that what is the use of it?

i am making one site and it's dynamic structure so all the data has
been store in database and which shold be in multilanguage.

so can i use this translation facility of sqlbuddy in my project.?

SQL Buddy uses php gettext. Here is some good information:

Note that you still need to get the actual translations from somewhere. It is not able to generate the translations for you.
