I want to export the database to a text file, but keep getting this error "The file could not be opened."

It works when the output is set to the browser, but not when I need to export to a file.

I can export the database to a file using PHPMyadmin okay. It just doesn't work with SQL Buddy.

I got stumped by this one initially. Create a folder called 'exports' (or could be 'export') at script root level and chmod it to 777. The file will be saved there.

Thank you.

Where do I put this folder? Could you explain more about "script root level"? I'm new to SQL so I'm still trying to learn how to get around with it.

Hi Tri, I'm having the same problem as you. Did you find a solution?

Many Thanks,

At the place where SQL Buddy is place, create a folder names "exports" and open the command line, chmod the folder to 777

I think you are Vietnamese, so here is Vietnamese:
Vào nơi đặt SQL Buddy tạo thư mục "exports", xong rồi chmod 777 cho thư mục đó
Tôi cũng là người Việt Nam :)
