  I think boot from thumbdrive or cdrom before scanning, would be a &lt;br&gt; good idea, if it could be done. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;1) No worries about malware starting during bootup. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;2) Bootup could be faster. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;3) You would not have to install/update spybot, or whatever, since it &lt;br&gt; would already be on the thumbdrive. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Does this make sense? Can this be easily done? What OS would be best

  All, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;My mother-in-law is receiving popups that she has viruses, trogans &lt;br&gt; etc... on her computer and the only way to remove these files is to &lt;br&gt; purchase a product called Malware Catcher 2009 (also as a popup). She &lt;br&gt; has Norton installed (and recently purchased an upgrade) and they want &lt;br&gt; to charge $100 to remove the software. Has anyone had any experience

  Thanks alot, I haven&#39;t used it yet but sure it will delete infectuous &lt;br&gt; activity because the details shown on it are quite similar to my &lt;br&gt; proble. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;There is another problem that I cannot view Taskmanager through run, &lt;br&gt; through ctrl+alt+delete or anyways. is it also brontok or other &lt;br&gt; viruses exists as well? cause this is not mentioned in the given link.
