MobileMe, or just Gallery Feature

I understand that Apple used SproutCore to create MobileMe. Is there
someway I could reduplicate some of the features in MobileMe, to steer
away from MobileMe itself. If there is a tutorial to get me started
that would be great. I would mainly like to have the gallery feature
if some of the other feature are not possible.

Over the past couple of weeks, the Bespin editor has been completely
revamped as a proper SproutCore control. Since the overall Bespin app is
migrating to SproutCore, this is a good thing because it means that the
editor will play much nicer with the rest of the app.

Sc doesn't unbind anything when that code throws an exception. It may
try to catch the exception for you so that other observers can fire
also. This might be a reasonable thing to turn off especially in
debug mode

Because of the way Jacascript works alert pane cannot block for you
until the user returns. Instead you need to write your code
asynchronously.

This just cost me quite a bit of time:
x: null,
thing: function() {
x.method();
There's an obvious NPE - obvious when it's written like that. What's
bad is that Sproutcore catches the exception and then *silently*
unbinds from whatever caused the problem, leaving you wondering what's
up with the binding.

[FTR] How to allow text selection in list views (solved via IRC)

Hi,
I already solved this problem with the help of alexiskander on irc,
but I want to write down the solution in case someone needs similar
functionality.
I've a ListView that uses a custom view to build its rows (via
exampleView). My custom view contains a LabelView and the text/value
of that Label should be selectable (isTextSelectable: YES).

You need to use a callback and complete the action inside of the callback.
