Hi,

Now that the holiday season is wrapped up and the new team structure has had time to gel, I believe that the time is right to close off 1.7.  It's important to get the many bug fixes and changes back to the community, but it's also important for us to mark this milestone so that we may focus on the many new proposals as part of 1.8.  Before we can do that though, we have a number of failing unit tests that are either incorrect tests or regressions.

I'd like to ask anyone interested to help fix these unit tests and in order to prevent duplicate efforts, I've created new pages on the Wiki:  https://github.com/sproutcore/sproutcore/wiki/Work-Orders and https://github.com/sproutcore/sproutcore/wiki/Work-Logs.

Please consider taking on a portion of the work in "Work Order: Fix Unit Tests" (https://github.com/sproutcore/sproutcore/wiki/Work-Orders#wiki-fix-unit-tests) and document your efforts in the Work Log.

If you have suggestions on how to better co-ordinate community volunteer efforts, please let me know.  In the meantime, I hope that the Work Orders page will be a suitable means for us to take accepted proposals to the next stage.

Thanks!
