Hi all,
I would like to deprecate the use of templates in the xml
configuration in favor of parent objects. Does anyone have any
objection against that?

As long as you merge the parameter substitution into the "abstract"
definitions functionality, I see no problems :)

I meant the "parent" functionality, doh...
