Hi,

I've now manged to create a PostalService extension and Calculator
for standard postal shipment. Standard in Europe at least, where
state post services charge per weight, independance of distance.

I'll be happy to share it when I just get to test it. So I've read
checkout is in the works, surely (more) good things are coming our way.
My only question is, is the checkout broken just for me or generally:
When I press continue after the Address input, _nothing happens.

And the other one was the Shipping Rate. The admin Interface lets me
define one with a method and category ( both of which I think I
understand), but where or how is it used ? The shipping guide doesn't
enlighten me either, so am I missing something basic ?

Thanks

Torsten

Check my 'advanced caclulators' extension, one of the calculators allows
you to define price of shipment depending on weight.

It should work, but currently requires JS enabled to run.

It's used with new calculators scheme, to allow for selecting custom
costs if for example very large items are priced differently.

I was maybe unclear: I have written the Calculator.
To do that I looked at your stuff and it wasn't really difficult, just I can't test it

Well, I've tried with Safari4 and camino lastest, and it doesn't .
Clicking the button just does nothing. So I'l file a bug then I guess.

Could you say how?  How is a shipping rate used ? Where is it called  ?

Thanks
