Hi Ron, could you please try that again? I've update spree_gateway to use spree 2.0.0. You should be able to bundle just fine now.

Sorry about this, Bruce. We'll get a fix out in 2.0.1 soonish that'll solve this and other little bugs with Spree 2.0.

Hi guys,

I am trying to do a fresh install of Spree as per github readme. I am getting this error even after pointing gems to stable branches.

gem 'spree_gateway', :git => 'https://github.com/spree/spree_gateway.git',:branch => "2-0-stable"
gem 'spree_auth_devise', :git => 'https://github.com/spree/spree_auth_devise.git',:branch => "2-0-stable"

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "spree_frontend":
  In Gemfile:
    spree_auth_devise (>= 0) ruby depends on
      spree_frontend (~> 2.0.0) ruby

    spree (= 2.1.0) ruby depends on

      spree_frontend (2.1.0)

I was able to resolve the problem by pointing out branches to current Spree version, like so -

gem 'spree', '2.1.0'

gem 'spree_gateway', :git => 'https://github.com/spree/spree_gateway.git', :branch => "2-1-stable"

gem 'spree_auth_devise', :git => 'https://github.com/spree/spree_auth_devise.git', :branch => "2-1-stable"

I think its generators leaving this on me to resolve it.

Abhishek: Rather than ressurrecting old threads, please post a new thread for your issues, as they may be unrelated to the original threads. In this case, that is true.

If you're using a 2.0.x version of Spree, then use 2-0-stable branches. If you're using a 2.1.x version, then use 2-1-stable.
