Hello List,

I'm currently having some problems with saving values for option types. On my local machine (mongrel) everything is working perfect. However, when I deploy the app to my server, saving / adding values to OptionTypes does nothing. No error messages, green bar with ok message but the added values are not added.

Is this a (known) problem with mod_rails? And what can I do about it ?

Thanks!

Peter.

I've never heard of this problem before. I tend to doubt that it's
mod_rails that causing the problems. Maybe there's another important
difference between the two machines? Try checking the versions of
ruby, rails and gems. Also, what database version are you using in
production?

Ideally you could debug this on production to see where its breaking
down (and hopefully give us a clue as to why.) Try running with
script/server --debugger (read up on the debugger gem if you don't
know about it already - its well worth learning about.)

Keep us posted.

Ehm.... me is feeling stupid... :D

I forgot to do a "git push origin master" before I deployed... everything is working good now.
