The Comma, Currency, and Percent toolbar buttons are tied to styles
called Comma, Comma[0], Currency, Currentcy[0] and Percent which seem
to be in the default Excel template. Files that I create with
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel don't have these defines so those buttons don't
work.

What is the relationship between styles in excel and formats in
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel? Can I somehow give a name to a format to make
a style?

Thanks,
Bill

There isn't a direct way to specify the format for styles with the
current interface of Spreadsheet::WriteExcel. This feature was planned
as part of the Format refactoring.

However, it should be possible with a small bit of behind the scenes
hacking. I'll look into it and post a workaround.

John.
