Hello everyone,

I am a very new user of SPOT. Haven't ran any simulation yet. I have a simple question; of which I couldn't find any straight forward answer in documentation.

Can surrounding buildings be modeled in SPOT?

Thank you!

Hi Vaibhav,

You can model surrounding obstructions by getting creative with the exterior overhang elements that are available for each wall of the space.  Play with the dimensions and offsets to see how this can work.  The isometric and elevation should reflect where you have placed the element.

In an upcoming SPOT-Pro there will be new features relative to exterior geometry and more complex interior geometry options.

Regards,
Zack
