Hi all,

Well, there is a piggy emergency in California. 152 guinea pigs were surrendered by a hoarder to a shelter, and three rescue groups are taking them in (Orange County Cavy Haven, Wee Companions, and Arizona Piggie Poo Rescue). Births have the number sky rocketing.

This is a time to, if this program and the premise behind it means to you what it does to me, really see how you can help. Foster? Donate money? Supplies? Spread the word.

Please see how you can help out these West coast rescues. It is imperative, this is the type of event that can collapse a rescue.

There are links on the site for more information: http://sponsoraguineapig.blogspot.com/

I'd also like to take a moment to thank everyone involved in rescue, and who makes rescue possible (that means you!). These animals, particularly our smaller friends, are so very vulnerable. We have to help those who cannot help themselves.

Thank you for your work, support, and donations.

Regards,

Shevaun Brannigan
