It is time for the first Spin Jam of 2008 WHOO HOO!!!
9:00-12:00, $5-10$ donation details below.

GET ON THE GOOGLE GROUP! This list is going to phase out this month
and I am only going to post to the google group from then on. Please
go subscribe yourself so that you stay in the loop. Group name is
SpinJamSF group is open to all.

We have a super fab return DJ! Metathema! AKA RA...we love Ra, he spun
us a mighty sweet set last year and he is bringing it back for more!
He won't stay too late though, so bring an ipod mix if you want for
the end of the evening.... check out Metathema at www.turiyasounds.com

PLEASE bring lighting! Blacklights, xmas lights, clip lights....any
lights! (and an extension cord).

PLEASE Post this to tribe in all flow, spinny, toy, fire tribes that
would be interested!

The old posts had it that the address is on Otis St, however that is
the back door, it may or may not be unlocked.

The front door is on the address above.
Otis St begins at the crux of Mission, S. Van Ness and 12th st. and is
a one way.
From S. Van Ness or 12th come up Otis and make a Right on Brady
1 block to Colton and take a right.
There is a parking lot to pull into with plenty of parking, and it is
obvious from there.

When you arrive please be sure to do the following.
1. PUT YOUR DONATION IN THE JAR!!! This is a non profit community
funded event...if there is not enough money in the jar at the end of
the night, I come around and ask everyone for more...usually half of
you have not put your duckets in the bucket...make it happen people so
that I don't have to stop playing and make announcements and all that
jazz...:) As always no one turned away for lack of funds, and if that
is the case feel free to offer yourself in service to the jam/
community is some way.
Requested donation is $5-$10.

2. INTRODUCE YOURSELF to those that don't know you...not just that you
don't know. This is a community created event...if you want community,
you have to put your toys down once and awhile, and stare slack jawed
in awe of the talented and awesome people in the room...and talk to
them. I vote for hugging them too. If you are not sure who to hug come
find the sparkly girl in the hula hoop whose outfit reminds you of an
80's neon flashback and hug me...I will introduce you around!

3. Learn something new....you can do what you are doing alone in your
living room, come to Spin Jam to learn something. There are many
awesome and cool teachers in the room. Let us all be students of life
and each other and share our bountiful abundance of skills and
knowledge!
