Greetings from Sphere India.

 

Please find enclosed a SITREP on Cyclone Laila as on May 20, 2010, 1330 hours. Presently the cyclone is 50 kms from Bapatla and will hit Machilipatnam, Krishna District between 1400-1600 hrs, with 3-5 meters of tide. IMD states that the cyclone is weakening. However heavy rains lash the coast of Andhra Pradesh affecting the lives and livelihoods of scores of coastal communities.
