Sorry for the noise on the repository tonight, but we pushed out Mono
support and full MonoDevelop integration! We had to iron out the
details for doing the release and some things were a little trial and
error while integrating with the hosting service that the add-in is
hosted on. Moving forware, this release supports running SpecFlow
under Mono 2.6.7 and MonoDevelop 2.4. Currently there is only support
for running your tests under NUnit 2.4.8.
How do I get it? You can install the SpecFlow add-in by using
MonoDevelop's add-in manager by clicking Tools -> Add-in Manager and
then following the directions on:
http://addins.monodevelop.com
For monitoring releases you can find the add-in project page here:
http://addins.monodevelop.com/Project/Index/4
You can also download the binaries to SpecFlow, for including in your
projects, from here:
http://github.com/downloads/techtalk/SpecFlow/SpecFlow_1.3.5.2_bin.zip
The zip archive contains the SpecFlow runtime and the tool application
for generating reports.
I plan on creating a screencast on how to install and use SpecFlow in
MonoDevelop very soon. I am also very close in launching my business
site and plan on posting information and blog posts about the
project. If you want to dive right in, go ahead and as always post
your questions here on the SpecFlow user group.
I would like to take this time and thank TechTalk for releasing
SpecFlow under open source, because it's an awesome project. It's
been a privilege to bring BDD agile techniques to the Mono community
and it's been a pleasure working with the SpecFlow team. Hopefully
together we can show how awesome the .NET/Mono open source communities
are and pay it forward.
Have fun,
