ABRF iPRG 2011 study still open for participation

Hi everyone, I’d like to draw your attention to the ABRF iPRG study this year. Everyone is invited to participate. For those of you not familiar with the ABRF iPRG studies, they are yearly collaborative studies wherein a single, small dataset is distributed to all participants, who may analyze the dataset with their favorite tools and submit a result anonymously; the results are assessed and compared with all submissions by the iPRG and participants may check to see how their analysis compares with other participants. Nearly everyone learns something useful in this process.
This year’s study is a small ETD dataset. As you may know, the TPP fully supports ETD and this might be a good opportunity to try your hand at applying the TPP on ETD data, even if you don’t have an ETD-capable instrument yourself. Your study results are evaluated by the iPRG anonymously, so you can see how you fare against other participants without knowing who the others are. For the first time, a spectral library is distributed with the study materials, so you can use SpectraST directly as well. Information on the study can be found at:

The second URL is the invitation letter. You do need to send an email to inform the iPRG group of your intent to participate by November 26 as described.
