Hi,
I downloaded the new TPP and tried to install it, but it crashes
always with an error that in C:/Inetpup.... cannot be written. I still
have some remains of an older version on my 64bit Windows computer,
but I have no idea how to remove it, the wiki page is empty. Any help?

Error during trapper running

I met a problem during the trapper programmer running. i tried to
converter the .d files to mzXML by trapper. The error message pops up
as "“ The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred
in the application at location (0x0042f6b7.)” What could be the
problem?

As previously mentioned, from TPP 4.1 forward, the Windows version of the TPP requires that you install the perl language from ActiveState, called ActivePerl. *ActivePerl version 5.8 is recommended, as it will cleanly overwrite the TPP 4.0.x's custom version of perl which might have been installed, while ActivePerl version 5.10 will not.* ActivePerl can be... more »
