Using SPElements on Sharepoint 2010

Hi all,
I see your Sharepoint web parts today, I there will be some really
nice web parts.

I think, I could use one or two for my current project, but my problem
is:
We are using Sharepoint 2010 and the web parts couldn't installed
successfully on the system.

Is there any way to install the web parts on Sharepoint 2010 (e.g.
install on Sharepoint 2007 and copy the source files, e.g. *.dlls,
*.aspx, ..., on the Sharepoint 2010 and register via power shell)?

Or is there a release date for Sharepoint 2010?

I moved the code of the SlideShow to a Visual Studio 2010 project and
built it again against 2010. The web part as such is working fine but
it seems to have some Javascript conflicts with the 2010 webpart adder
control. Once I add the slideshow, the SharePoint AddWebpart feature
stops working on the page.

Thanks for this informationen.
So there is no code change for upgrading to 2010 necessary.

Mabe in short time we can use it for 2010.
