I have just verified again that SPSlideShow (latest version 0.7b2, but
I don't think it changed anything important since 0.6) works if the
user have the following privileges(any one of them):
1. Site visitor
2. Read permission.
It might be that I some use a specific command that requires some
permission setting that you don't allow your users:
What are the exact privileges you user use (first check Site Settings -
> People And Groups -> Site Permissions to see which site permission
are used, if the site permissions are custom, click Settings ->
Permission Levels and click on the permission level to get the
specific details of the permission level.
