Hello,

I have updated our Spatialite Android sample in http://nutiteq.github.io/hellomap3d/ project with Nutiteq Android 3D maps SDK, so there is ready to be used sample Activity (SpatialiteMapActivity) among other samples. Prebuilt APK is also available: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3573333/public_web/AdvancedMap3D-1.0-SNAPSHOT.apk

Some notes:
 - it uses still Spatialite 3, I expect issues with version 4. due to metadata table structure diffs
 - code snippet sample for your app, and couple of screenshots: https://github.com/nutiteq/hellomap3d/wiki/Spatialite-layer
 - the Java API is probably different from other Android Spatialite ports, at least it is quite different from Android built-in SQLite (no Cursors etc).
 - it is expected to work with data in any projection, data is reconverted automatically
 - Nutiteq SDK is free if you use it with OpenStreetMap data. There is no Google maps dependency with it, and Nutiteq supports also many other data source formats and APIs. For commercial data/apps you can check from me.
