Hi all,

a nasty bug affecting libspatialite-3.0.0-STABLE has been reported
today, causing a sudden crash when exporting any (MULTI)POLYGON
3D [XYZ, XYM or XYZM] layer as Shapefile.

a patched libspatialite-3.0.1 is now available, fully resolving
this unpleasant issue:

pre-built Windows binaries including v.3.0.1 have been updated as
well:
http://www.gaia-gis.it/gaia-sins/windows-bin-x86/
http://www.gaia-gis.it/gaia-sins/windows-bin-amd64/

upgrading from v.3.0.0-STABLE to v.3.0.1 is strongly recommended

bye Sandro

Hi Sandro,

thanks for quick update.

Could you please answer quick question?
One of Windows x86 dll files (version 30-beta) was named
'libspatialite-4.dll'. However, in version 30-stable it was renamed to
'libspatialite-3.dll' but in the the latest release - 3.0.1 - I found
file 'libspatialite-2.dll'.

Is it by purpose?

BTW: I didn't have chance to say it earlier but version 3.0 saved my
life,, works perfect for my purposes: )

Cheers,
Mariusz
