SHP compatibility issue [GeoServer]

Hi list,

I've recently discovered a bug(?) in SpatiaLite's
generated Shapefiles.

This seems to be absolutely innocuous if we're
trying to use such SHP in QGis, Arc* and many
other GIS widespread tools.

But GeoServer (and I suspect, any other JAVA
app using GeoTools) isn't able to load any
SHP generated using SpatiaLite.

After a little debugging, I've identified the
cause explaining this 'odd' behaviour:
- SpatiaLite counts entities starting from 0
- but GeoServer absolutely pretends to count
entities starting from 1, so it's completely
unable to access any SpatiaLite's SHP.

to be fixed ASAP into the next SpatiaLite's release.
