Hi,

I have discovered your sparsh-ui framework and i want to know whether
the gesture recognition server is based on algorithms found in
scientific papers.
I can find many papers about monotouch gestures recognition algorithms
like the "1$ gesture recognition", "Rubine", N$..., but I can't find
papers for multitouch.

Do you have some references on that ?

Thanks,

ik.

Martin Goerg published a good paper related to multi-touch gesture
recognition. Conveniently, he also belongs to this google group. You
can probably find some good references in his paper.

M.T. Goerg, M. Cebulla, and S.R. Garzon, “A Framework for Abstract
Representation and Recognition of Gestures in Multi-touch
Applications,” in Advances in Computer-Human Interactions, 2010. ACHI
'10. Third International Conference on (Saint Maarten, 2010).

He references Sparsh-UI, and we use the centroid approach he
describes. If you're an academic, your library probably subscribes to
IEEE Xplore. Let me know if you have issues getting the paper.
