Spanning Sync has a price now, but what is that price for? Is it for
one Google account, or for one Mac? In other words, how many
subscriptions do I need to keep 3 Macs synced to one Google account?
The price is a lot more palatable if it covers all my syncing needs.
(Which presumes that the address book version will be included in the
same subscription when it comes out.)

I use iSync to keep my phone's calendar synced with one of my Macs.
Should I expect to be able to create events on the phone, and have
Spanning Sync add them to my Google calendar?

Thanks,

Denis,

Thanks for the question. A Spanning Sync license is tied to a Google
account, so it doesn't matter how many Macs or other devices you're
using--one license will have you covered.

And yes, since Spanning Sync uses Apple Sync Services it should work
with any well-behaved iSync-compatible device. That being said, we
have gotten reports of unusual behavior with a certain model of
Motorola RAZR (C3?). So I would encourage you to download Spanning
Sync, use it free for 15 days, and make sure it works well for you
before purchasing a license.

Regards,
Charlie

Let me please piggy-back a question here:

I've tried the beta at various points. I can get it to successfully
sync my calendar from one computer to Google Calendar. But when I
install spanningsync on another computer that uses iSync and .Mac to
sync iCal, I'm unsure whether I should allow Spanning Sync to now keep
the calendar in sync on the second Mac, or should I not install
Spanning Sync on the second computer and let .Mac service keep the two
up-to-date.

When I've tried running .Mac, Spanning Sync and Missing Sync all on
both computers, my calendar gets multiple errors, and Spanning Sync
becomes less than useless.

Thanks!
