Subject: The issue of Google's "My Contacts" vs "All Contacts"
I have Spanning Sync running on my Mac and I also use Google Sync on
my iPhone to keep all three synchronized.  Everything works
wonderfully, except for one issue (which I believe has been discussed
here before).

The issue is that when I delete a contact on my iPhone that contact
gets moved out of "My Contacts" at Google, but stays in "All
Contacts".  Subsequently, Spanning Sync is synchronized from "All
Contacts", and the deletion is not propogating from the iPhone through
to my Mac.

Does the beta of Spanning Sync v3 give the ability to sync only from
"My Contacts"?  Is this a feature planned for?  It may be too much for
me to expect Google to give me the option of having deleted contacts
truely get deleted and not simply removed from "My Contacts", so I'm
hoping I can solve the issue on the Spanning Sync end.

Ty

Any update on this situation? I am also having trouble with this.

Spanning Sync only syncs the "My Contacts" group, so I'm a bit
confused. Can you list the steps required to reproduce the behavior
you're seeing?

Thanks,
Charlie
