Hi,

I am using SpanningSync 3.0.3 in Mac OS 10.6.2.
The Sync process does not start autmatically. It starts as soon as I
open the prefpanel and the Menu bar item appears.
How to solve this problem? Anyone else with it?
thanks..

Try going to the Accounts pref pane, login items, and remove the
Spanning Sync login item. Then open the Spanning Sync pref pane so
that it can add its login item again.

Hope that helps.

Hi Larry,

thanks for replying. The problem is: there is no SpanningSync item in
my login item list.
And it will not be added even when I open the SpanningSync prefpane.
What could stop this from happening? Do I have to add it manually and
how?

thanks.

How strange. Normally the pref pane will add it automatically. Yes,
you can add it yourself. In the Finder, select "go to folder" from the
go menu, then paste in:

~/Library/PreferencePanes/Spanning Sync.prefPane/Contents/Resources/

(Exclude the "~" if Spanning Sync is installed for all users.)

Then, drag Spanning Sync Notifier into your login items list.

Please let me know if that doesn't address the problem or you have
other questions.
