Well... it's cheap!

Thanks for pointing it out.  There are several ideas in there that I like a lot, so I'll keep an eye on this project.

A few concerns:
1. This printer is going to be extremely sensitive to vibration.  Any jostling of the tank will distort the print. (Maybe floating a sponge in the water before you add resin on top would damp some ripples.)
2. It doesn't look like they can turn the laser off during the print - note the string up the center of the cube.  How would you print islands of material without stringing?
3. Computer generated audio (especially from a laptop) is quite noisy.  I don't know if that causes the bumps in the demo pictures or ...
4. That's no galvo!  I think the inertia of the mirrors might cause rippling in the prints.
5. No hard facts until they are 'done with R&D'.  Why are you kickstarting if you aren't finished designing?  Maybe that's just me...

But in the end, the price is right!  This printer would be a great starting point for someone investigating resin printers.  I'm thinking of supporting it just to play around.  I can already think of several improvements...

Alex
