Hello I am new to the group. I am a middle school teacher in
Lancaster, WI. I recently purchased a Cupcake ultimate for my
classroom. Look forward to being a member of the group.

If you need any help getting it up and running make sure to e-mail this list, Sector67 has also purchased one as well as one of our members so we'll have some fresh insight on getting it assembled and running.  If you find yourself in Madison you're also welcome to stop by :-)

Welcome to the group! I think the Cupcake is an excellent way to introduce middle school students to the future. In addition to experimenting and playing, I use my Cupcake to print out objects to help around the house. It is crude and has limitations, but it reminds me of the teletype I used as a computer printer in the 80's. Later I moved up to dot matrix, laser, and now full color ink-jet. Home 3D printing will do the same thing, and you're part of the revolution today.
