UNDP is seeking qualified Sudanese Nationals for the position of the
Project Manager for ‘Joint Programme on Creating Opportunities for
Youth Employment’. The candidate will be responsible for providing
technical and managerial leadership to the Crisis Prevention and
Recovery Unit (CPRU) for the Joint Programme (JP); manage and support
the day-to-day management of activities and resources of the project,
with special emphasis on coordination, networking and management,
including the management of the tendering processes for the Labor
Market Survey and Business Idea Competition, in close collaboration
with and technical guidance by the Economic Advisor. S/he will be a
technical resource to the Unit and the JP on microfinance, youth
employment, enterprise development, labour market policy and business
capacity building.

The Project Manager will also liaise with HR and Finance Units,
prepare narrative and financial reports, analyses political, social
and economic trends in the program area and facilitate the
implementation of specific project activities. The Project Manager
will lead a team consisting of one National M&E Officer and one
National Administration Associate.
