Copyright notice and partials

A friend of mine and I are working on a project we are getting ready to release (BZflag server web management). Since this is the first project we are releasing into the wild, we are adding copyright notices to the files. What is the best way to add them in partials? It seems kind of ridiculous to have them on a page 12 times, but every other project either of us has dealt with has copyrights in every file and that seems sensible. What has have you found works best?
