Dear friends,

Please join us to thank Congressman Mike Honda and to encourage him to stick with the good fight for health insurance reform. We're meeting at his office tomorrow, Thursday, at 4:00 p.m. Please see the messages below for details.

Best regards and keep up the good fight!

Hi Everyone,

I just was told that HCAN will be doing a Thank You Event/Press Conference for Mike Honda tomorrow at 4 PM in Campbell in front of his office, and we would want an OFA presence there as well.

They will have representatives from Labor & Health Access and are also looking for OFA to speak.  Please pass this on to your members:

We're doing a press conference tomorrow in front of Mike Honda's office at 4pm tomorrow, Thursday, 12/17/09, at 1999 S. Bascom Ave, Suite 815, Campbell, CA 95008

The event is a Health Care for America Now (HCAN) press event to deliver our demands, in a friendly, non-confrontational way to Mike Honda's staff to ask that he be a champion for us to make sure that issues of affordability, immigrant inclusivity and the excise tax are addressed before the Health Care Bill is voted on. We want to make sure the Senate bill goes to conference and is improved by members of the House before the final vote.

My sense is that this will be a delegation visit/press conference. We are hoping to have 25 people there.

Thanks,

David Sharples
