SM Version 4.1.8.27, click on help link, and nothing happens. Do I
need to download a help file seperately?

help link in the programme or the alias?

While in the programme hit the HELP menu and then does nothing happen?

If the alias is bad, then you can pull out the pdf manual inside the
programme:

right(control) click on the app
select SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS
Open the folder anf look for a folder named RESOURCES and
inside that you will find the nested pdf manual - SMv4_Manual.pdf

I noticed this also and sent Justin a note. Not sure what is broken
but I can't get help to show the manual on any of the SM systems I'm
working on. 3 Pro one standard. three different machines two
different versions of 10.4.x. I just copied the manual out of the
package and use it that way.

I have tried the help box in the menu bar on both computers running
Version 4.1.8.27, and neither one will bring up any help windows. It
does seem to be broken.

FYI, it's working correctly with the 4.1.8.28 i'm using right now. All
pdfs and links are ok.

Bye.

Dorian, I don't see that version on the FTP site. How did you get
it? (beta tester?)

I'm no beta tester unfortunately, but Justin provided me with a
"special" release to see if the problem with accuented characters and
apostrophes (which we massively use in french) was solved. As stated
Steve above, the final official version will probably soon arrive.

Bye.

Turns out if you rename the small v in SMv4_manual.pdf to
SMV4_manual.pdf it'll work as expected...

As for build 25 and build 27 we sent some of you a pre-release build
at various stages, and build 25 is still checking the "beta" site. If
you log onto the ftp build 27 is there...(or just wait until build 30
is released)

Justin, you are right. I renamed the small v with a capitol V, and
now it works.

Cool
