The link in my previous message wrapped to a second line so it won't
work. If you manually piece it back together and paste it into your
browser you will get to the right page. Even easier, though, here is a
short alias for the long URL:

With some trial and error I figured it out. I did need to register.
I added DOB and Providernum without issue. I tried to add ProvCode (easier for us to identify) from the Providers table but couldn't master it. Can you add that?
I love the wiki. I didn't realize it was there.

You had me worried with your comment that you have to register to view
the wiki, but I checked and you can read pages without logging in, you
just can't add new pages, or even a comment, without registering and
logging in.

I'm sorry to break in this way. I've never tried to do this.
Has anyone had any experience using the program "go to my pc" at gotomypc.com? I am considering this program so I can get to my office pc from home. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I used gotomypc free trial version and it worked great. Unfortunately the group I work for decided to purchase PCAnywhere for a one time fee - thinking it would be cheaper in the long run. The only trouble I have with PC Anywhere is when the IP address changes and you don't know it - then it messes up your password to get in. I think the $14.95 fee for gotomypc is well worth it.

The solution to that is to either get a static IP from your internet
service provider or register with a DDNS service. DynDNS.com can set
you up with a name that will automatically route to whatever your
current ip address may be:
"Dynamic DNS Free (DDNS) allows you to create a hostname that points
to your home or office IP address, providing an easy-to-remember URL
for quick access. We also provide an update mechanism which makes the
hostname work with your dynamic IP address. We continue to offer this
service free to the Internet community as we have done so for nearly
10 years."
Having said that, I wonder whether you all realize that Vista Business
and XP Pro already have remote access built in, so if that is what you
are running at your office you don't need anything else. Once you
enable remote access in the computer properties, you are all set. The
basic technology is the same as Terminal Services, which in turn is
the same as GoToMyPc. You don't have as many bells and whistles,
perhaps, but it is doubtful that you would use the additional features
of the $$ remote control solutions anyway. On your remote computer you
simply use Windows Remote Desktop to connect back to your office. For
more information just open Windows Help and search REMOTE DESKTOP.
