Subject: Moving pt from active tio inactive

I have a couple of patients with zero balances. When I attempt to move them to 'inactive' I receive the following message:
"Pt has records in the current daysheet. Entries must be deleted from the daysheet or the daysheet must be closed." There are no entries in the daysheet and it is closed. Please advise. Thank you, Cindy

If you do not have any entries for them in your current daysheet then
you will have to run a utility to clear some corrupt entries that are
under these accounts.  Make sure that everyone is out of all SOS
programs and make sure that you make a backup of your data.  Then go to
SOSLogin and enter your supervisor ID and password and click on Admin >
Database Tools > select DBA Utilities > Tools > Check DB Integrity.  It
will first analyse all your files then click on Finish.  It will then
give you all the information that it found.  Unless the numbers in each
sections are huge go ahead and fix the errors.  That will take care of
the problems for you.

It works but needs to be done often to move these "special accounts"
that will not close the traditional way.

In most cases this means that there are one or more orphan (incomplete
and therefore invisible) transactions for these patients in the
daysheet. Contact support at your convenience and one of the techs will
clean them out for you.
