Hi All,
I was trying EVPN VXLAN on Sonic on trident3 based Accton boards. I could see the MAC IP route getting exchanged from remote to the local node.
*>i[2]:[0]:[48]:[68:21:5f:9c:fc:7b]:[32]:[10.1.1.2]
2.2.2.2 100 0 i
RT:65100:3000 ET:8
root@sonic:/home/admin# ip neigh
10.1.1.2 dev Vlan30 lladdr 68:21:5f:9c:fc:7b extern_learn NOARP proto zebra
But if an external host is sending an ARP request to 10.1.1.2, I could see that the ARP request is sent over the VXLAN tunnel. I was not able to enable ARP suppression on the device. Is that feature not supported? In EVPN VXLAN HLD I could find reference to it.
I also see an open bug.
Has ARP suppression support been withdrawn?
Any help in this regard would be appreciated. Awaiting your reply.
Thanks,
Sudharshan
