Is there any rate limiting applied to the Songkick API?

Thanks,
Lucas

Hi Lucas,

In the terms of use it says:
"4.7 You may only make calls to the Songkick API at a reasonable rate.
Songkick reserves the right to limit the rate at which calls may be
made in the future, and is likely to do this before opening the API to
the general public."

thanks

Hi Sabrina. Is there a definition of what constitutes a 'reasonable rate'? i.e. Is 1000 calls per day/minute/hour reasonable?

Your answer will determine what caching I need to put in place and what info I request in my API calls.

Thanks!

Ben

Hi Ben

We don't have hard limits, but the data can be cached for up to an hour if you need to.

Hope that helps!
