Subject: USB drive in OSX
Hi.
I wish to create a plugin so that i can manage the music on my sony
ericsson walkman phone. It has a mode where is acts as a 2gb usb
drive. Using this mode to transfer i imagine that the plugin also will
be use full for other players using standard usb for transfer of
files.

My problem is that i have no experience in programming extensions, but
in my work i do a lot for programming for numerical calculations. So
i'm asking you are there any obvious ways to do this?

I'm thinking that you specify the directory of the media on the media
player, and that songbird then reads this as a playlist and when ever
you add of remove a track from the playlist it adds or removes the
file from the directory. this is the basic idea.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback
