How do we train people in growing nutritional food for society in a way that builds resilience, regenerates ecosystem health and contributes to social well-being?
Horticulture, the craft and science of plant polyculture, has been an on-going theme in our programme of the last 20 years, reflecting its critical role in human nutrition and future food production. We are now working with the Eden Project, the Centre for Alternative Technology and Plymouth University to develop a Masters programme in sustainable horticulture to inspire, skill and support a new generation of growers, entrepreneurs, project workers and policy developers keen to meet the food challenges of the 21st century.
We invite you to help co-design this programme by telling us what you imagine it could be like. What inspiration, knowledge and skills are needed to support a new generation of leaders and growers in creating a food system fit for the future?
