Hi solrmarc-tech and vufind-tech,

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure solr such that I can have a slave run an arbitrary script after replication is finished?  We are running solr 1.4.

I asked this question on stackoverflow and received a tumbleweed badge :(

Thanks!

Have you tried the solr-user list?

There is a postCommit <listener> hook, and replication ultimately does a commit after it is finished. I haven't tried it, but have a look at Solr's example solrconfig.xml for comments and details.

Erik, a belated thank you.  This works well.
