To get started on this new series, all members are invited
to a consultation on educational priorities for sustainable
development. A preliminary test version of the consultation
form is online:
See page 1
for more on how the consultation will proceed. Even though this is a
preliminary test, your participation and feedback are critical
for this exercise to yield new insights that may be useful to the group
members and other sustainable development professionals. Let's work
together to refine the questions and also reduce the number of
questions in monthly iterations. Let's try to have something that
holds water by the end of the year.
This issue also includes the following:
1. Updated lists of links to online resources that may be useful for
ESD (page 1).
2. An appeal to endorse the Earth Charter (Earth Charter Day is April
22) contributed by Brian Trautman (page1).
3. Two very instructive articles on sustainable development by
Professor Soodursun Jugessur, Pro-Chancellor of the University of
Mauritius (see page
2 and page
3).
As always, I am delighted to get good articles suitable for publication
in the
journal
