Please let your international students be aware of the following opportunity.
ISS has scheduled travel signature and visa letter sessions
around campus for students who are traveling this semester. A third travel
signature day session will be held on December 2nd in Rudder Tower,
room 301. Students who are planning to travel outside of the U.S. and who
currently have an I-20 or DS-2019 re-entry signature endorsement expiring
within the next 3 months or less must have their documents signed before their
travel begins. Appointments for the December 2nd session will be available
starting November 19th.
During the travel signature sessions, international students who have signed up
will be able to have their travel signature (and visa letter, if necessary)
processed and visa letter signed on-site. Only students who have signed up in
advance will be able to use this service (to control crowding and allow for
smooth processing of the maximum number of individuals). To sign up, click on
Travel Signature Day located on the front page of the ISS website at: http://international.tamu.edu/iss/
Travel Signature & Visa Letter Days location, time and dates:
1. Wednesday, December 2nd in Rudder Tower, room 301 from 9:00am to 12:00pm and
1:00pm to 4:00pm (available for sign-up starting November 19)
Documents you will need to bring to complete this process:
1. Original I-20/DS-2019
2. Passport
3. Visa
4. I-94 card
5. Completed Travel Sheet (see links below)
6. Sponsor Student Programs signature on travel sheet (only if student is a
sponsored student)
7. Online visa letter request (only needed if a student is applying for a new
visa stamp)
Students should download and complete the Travel Sheet prior to their scheduled
appointment. Travel sheets can be down loaded by clicking the following links.
