Strawberry Canyon Blue Camp, located on the U C Berkeley Campus, is running a one-of-a-kind social skills camp and leadership/work-skills program for youth with Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and similar social skills deficits.

Group Leader provides stability and guidance as the campers apply what they are learning to real-life situations. A camper’s daily schedule includes mini-social skills sessions throughout the day as they are fully integrated into the camp experience with more typically developing peers. LIT campers begin to work on job readiness skills as well as leadership skills. This program helps decrease social anxiety and improve social and recreational skills.
