Travelites' New Years Eve event report & upcoming

North Carolina to ring in the New Year. We snacked on meats and
cheese before we headed out to Bone Fish Grill. We returned to
socialize and soak in the hot tub @8:30 at which time Allen (my
husbnad)was very much surprised at the decorations and his birthday
cake celebrating the beginning of his 64th year.
At a few minutes to midnight we got into the hot tub with champagne to
toast and welcome in 2010. We celebrated the new year with banana
pancakes and mimosas. May each and every one of you and yours have
the best ever year.
The next event is the East Coast Chili Cookoff on Jan. 16 at
Serendipity, @90 minutes northeast of Atlanta. If you aren't going to
compete, you can still be there to share in the camaraderie. Those who
are not competing are asked to bring a side dish or dessert because
after the 5pm competition we will all be enjoying the concoctions.
So far, two Travelites members have agreed to be judges. We need a
total of five from all clubs.
If you are going to complete, please let me know your full name and
club affiliation so your winning certificate can be correct.
The following event is the first hot tub party of 2010 is on Jan. 23rd
in Hopkins, SC
