Hey kids, let's go watch the Miss G-String International pageant

Even for a nudist resort this seemed over-the-topless for some.

The resort -- called Paradise Lakes in Land O'Lakes -- is sponsoring
the Miss G-String International pageant. The ad for this event shows
an apparently nude blond model suggestively straddling a motorcycle.

It also says that "25 gorgeous contestants" will compete in the
October event, which will be hosted by a Penthouse cover model,
reports the St. Petersburg Times.

Well! It seems this ad greatly offended the American Association for
Nude Recreation. They suspended Paradise Lakes' membership, saying the
resort's marketing activities "sexualized the nudist experience."

"We promote social, family nude recreation, and that's what we want
our clubs to do," said Carolyn Hawkins, AANR's public relations
coordinator.

After learning about the suspension, the resort withdrew its
affiliation with the AANR.

And it isn't the first club in Pasco County to do so.

In May 2008, AANR temporarily suspended the membership of Caliente
resort after the club registered to have a booth at Swingfest 2008, an
adult trade show. Caliente pulled its affiliation two months later.

So much for social, family nude recreation.

Whatever that may be.
