How does "Recent Activity" work below my profile get updated?

Your recent activity gets updated if you do one of the following:
1. Post a class
2. Post an event
3. Post a place
4. Start a group
5. Start a topic
6. Register for a class
7. Get on guest list for an event
8. Rate a place which implies you've been there (just click on the
number of stars you want to give it)
9. Join a group (that's why you have the "Nepal Minimalist Design
Fans" in your profile)
10. Subscribe to a topic (not yet implemented)

For example, to rate the place "Boudanath" go to http://socialect.com/place/np/boudhanath
and rate it by clicking on the number of stars you want to give it
and rate it by clicking on the number of stars you want to give it
