we have a way to see all locations with data at
http://socialect.com/stats
. it's a hard balance - there's so much we want to put on the landing
page but in the end we decided that less is more and to give the user
as few choices as possible (we simplified it down to two choices -
post or see). if you can think of a way to include location stats on
the landing page without making it too complicated then we will
definitely include it.

great idea! we have an algorithm in socialect that guesses your
location based on your IP and in the next release we will also let
users enter their location in their profile. it wouldn't be very
difficult to prompt users to post things around their coordinates.
