You are invited to view a special interactive installation created by JWT and representing a Burmese prison complex with hundreds of miniature cells. Each cell bar is actually a pen, which you will be able to remove and use to sign a petition urging Burma’s military leader, Senior General Than Shwe, to release all political prisoners ahead of the elections.
You will also be able to meet former Burmese political prisoners including monks who led the 2007 "Saffron Revolution," view performances by leading Burmese artists, and listen to readings by Burmese rights activists as well as noted non-Burmese writers and entertainers who support their cause.
